White Tea (白茶): Fuding Shou Mei (福鼎寿眉)

A white tea (白茶) pressed into which, unlike its big brother the Fuding Bai Mu Dan (福鼎白牡丹), is made from a wider picking. The addition of large leaves gives it more body as well as an interesting aging potential. Under the right conditions, it will age as well as your best Pu'er (普洱). Its sweet orange liquor reveals notes of citrus(grapefruit), as well as pleasant aromas of dry grass. A honeyed finish blends in and balances the whole wonderfully. An everyday tea to be drunk alone or with good friends.
