White Tea (白茶): Fuding Bai Mu Dan (福鼎白牡丹)

A white tea (白茶) pressed into cake, whose delicate golden liquor reveals fine bud hairs. Suspended in the tea, they offer a rich and silky texture. On the nose side, hints of almond and dried apricot invite us in even before the first sip. On the palate, a slight acidity reminds us of green grapes before returning to apricot on the finish. Reminiscent of a walk in the fields on a hot day, vague aromas of dry grass complete this sweet finish. A delicate tea to be enjoyed in complete tranquillity.
